I tried and worked to get to 20% of this book and. I still do not know
what I read or what it was about. Just could not get into it. The set up
for the scenes made no sense to me. The connection of the characters
could not be made. I could not understand why the church was involved
at all.

I did not realize story content until purchased...not my preference.
Would recommend for those interested in true crime. I also was disturbed by
The cover? Perhaps if I read the book, I would understand the meaning.
Well written and thought through novel about Moors Murderer if she had been set free - had the feel of real characters - obviously carefully researched too. Would/will definitely look for other Jean Rafferty novels.
this book had a disjointed story line. diffciult to follow as each chapter occured who the characters were and when it took place.
I will say it was not what I thought but I did enjoy parts of the story. Some parts were a little to graphic for me.
This book is such a downer. Beginning fails to set tone of ultimate resolution; it just goes on and on w/negativity, without relief.
The story line is interesting but I found the writing to be inconsistent. The violent thoughts and behavior of the main character grew monotonous.
Only got so far with htis one. It's a fantasy tale of what could have been. If the Moors Murders is of interest, avoid this junk.
